One of my first group assignment was to create something that involves the Hochschule Fresenius University. The initial goal was to kick-start projects that could eventually be developed further on. Hence, the winner of the group-assignment will receive additional support to further build of the idea.
The first step was to build a prototype, which will be presented as a presentation in front of the judges. Since the Theme surrounding this assignment was about the University, we began to research what it was missing. Therefore, the idea of an interactive 3D view map of the interior of the University was chosen. However, since there was not enough time to build out a MVP-Program, we decided to render out a concept video to display the idea.
In this project, I was assigned as the Lead for this project. I issued tasks for everyone, creating 3D-Assets for the Room and Video. The pipeline was to sketch out which areas for the university will be set for the camera points the „user“ can move to, as with each movement, little points on certain spots of an area will display information whenever they hover over said information.
They were other areas planned for the video, however they were cut from production due to insufficient time.

Due to time constraints, some Rooms weren’t finished on time, as for example the Lobby area of the University. Here is a short demo video for the Entrance Hall:
I was tasked with the lighting, texturing, composition and rendering out the final video for the group assignment. The result is as follows:
