The Ring was an abstract project in which I spend time to familiarize the materlial system of Cinema 4D. The Ring was also my first project where I learned lighting and composition for the first time. The result was rendered with the Standard-renderer of Cinema 4D.

During this project, I also learned the basics of retopology and spare usage of subdivison modifiers, as these can greatly influence the amount of rendering time needed for the result. With the release of Cinema S22, sculpting and UV-Unwrapping has been greatly simplified, which motivated to learn on those areas as well.
